In Intel and TSMC Strategic Partnership we observed the signing of a cooperative agreement between Intel and TSMC to enable Intel ans system on chip (SoC) designers to integrated Atom processor technology into their SoC. In an analysis of the agreement between TSMC and Intel Electronics Weekly argue this is to enable Intel to more effectively penetrate the mobile/smartphone processor market and to start challenging ARM in a serious way.
